Text FX Unit 20

1. Gradient Overlay-for this one I selected the right layer and text and used the gradient overlay to make the text have a pattern I like the look of.
2. Colour Overlay-I don't really like the way the colour overlay came out as it looks frazzled and the effect doesn't really suit the font or the size of the text.
3. Satin- I actually like the way the satin fx looks as it works well with the size of the text and the font compared to some of the other effects i looked at.
4. Inner Glow-This is my least favourite out of the possible effects as it just made the colour of the text look orange when i expected it to look like orange is glowing from the middle of the text.
5. Bevel and emboss- This one seemed to have the same effect as colour overlay which is not as i expected it to turn out as it had the same frazzle like effect as the colour overlay.
6. Inner shadow-I like the way inner shadow came out as it makes it look like indented and looks similar to a wound or a cut which makes it have a quite interesting effect.
7. Drop shadow-I like the way the drop shadow turned out as it makes it have a dark black shadow behind it which makes the text look more 3D.
8. Pattern Overlay-The pattern overlay looks quite weird as it kind of has a blue and red effect through the text which makes it look quite good which is why i like it.
9. Stroke-I like the way stroke looks as it makes it have a heat map like pattern which is not what i expected but it turned out quite nice.
10. Outer Glow-i like the way outer glow turned as it gives it a bright blue colour around the text.
